What is IB?

IB Diploma Programme

Welcome to the Lee-Davis High School International Baccalaureate Program! Authorization to become an IB World School is a rigorous, two to three year process. Every five years, schools are required to go through a review to attain reauthorization.  Lee-Davis was authorized to offer Diploma Programme in 2000, with our first graduating class in 2002. The IB Program is a prestigious international program that offers a rigorous course of study that meets the needs of highly motivated students. This program provides students with the life skills necessary for success in a global society. In addition to the academic rigor, IB helps create well-rounded students by requiring participation in community service and extracurricular activities. Enrollment in the IB program is open to all students, which allows students to complete the IB Diploma requirements or take individual IB courses.
