Mrs. Williams has 28 years of experience as an educator and is entering her 14th year as an assistant principal at Mechanicsville High School. Prior to coming home to Hanover, Mrs. Williams was employed with Roanoke City Public Schools in various roles as a Marketing teacher, DECA advisor, high school assistant principal, and founding principal of the Roanoke Technical Education Center (ROTEC). She actually began her educational career teaching conversational English at Showa Yakka HS in Japan for two years.
Mrs. Williams is a proud alumni of Lee-Davis High School. She attended James Madison University where she received her Bachelor of Business Administration and is proud to say “I bleed purple.” Graduate level degrees were earned at Virginia Tech with a Master of Science in Education and Educational Specialist in Leadership and Policy Studies.
Mrs. Williams resides in New Kent with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys all water activities, reading, traveling, and rooting on her JMU Dukes!
