We hope you had a great start to the school year. We are writing today to share information on driver’s education presentations we will hold this year.
Beginning in the 2022–2023 school year, there were several updates to the requirements students must meet prior to receiving their license.
All Virginia students enrolled in driver’s education are required by Virginia law to attend a presentation to learn important information about rules and regulations that apply specifically to teen drivers. Please note that
students must attend a presentation prior to beginning their Behind the Wheel experience.
For your convenience, we have scheduled multiple opportunities at each of our high schools so that you can select a session that best meets your schedule. Registration instructions are included below. It is highly recommended that students are accompanied by a parent or guardian.
We will hold these presentations as follows:
- Monday, September 9 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Patrick Henry High School
- Wednesday, October 9 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Hanover High School
